Palace Entertainment’s 20+ historic venues across 10 U.S. states will join Herschend’s expanding portfolio of world-class destinations. Notable properties include Kennywood (PA), known for its classic wooden coasters and modern thrills; Dutch Wonderland (PA), a top family park; and Lake Compounce (CT), America’s first amusement park featuring the renowned Boulder Dash coaster.
Herschend will acquire all of Palace Entertainment’s U.S. properties from Parques Reunidos, marking a key step in Herschend’s expansion in family entertainment while allowing Parques Reunidos to focus on its core European market.

This acquisition strengthens Herschend’s position as the world’s largest family-owned themed entertainment company, adding to its diverse portfolio of theme parks, aquariums, resorts, and attractions that entertain over 20 million guests annually.
