WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (May 13, 2009) In anticipation of a busy Memorial Day travel weekend, Busch Gardens will be participating in an exciting “Demo Day” at the Virginia Welcome Center at Fredericksburg. The Virginia Tourism Corporation and the Virginia Department of Transportation state that this will be one of the busiest travel weekends for tourists driving on Interstate 95 during the Memorial Day holiday.
On Thursday, May 21, Busch Gardens will be participating in a “Demo Day” at the Virginia Welcome Center at Fredericksburg from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers heading south on I-95 are encouraged to stop by and pick up discount coupons for park admission and enter to win free tickets to the park. Busch Gardens’ animal ambassadors will also be present to interact with guests and teach them more about the world’s most beautiful theme park and the importance of wildlife conservation.
