Halloween is almost here, which means that Christmas is right around the corner! That also means that the huge Christmas celebrations are right around the corner! Disneyland has announced their huge plans for Christmas, which includes the return of all of your favorite friends, some Holiday themed attractions and of course a snowman! It’s all happening at the Disneyland Resort beginning in November!
November 13th will be the day that Christmas comes to the Disneyland Resort. This year the resort is kicking off the holiday season in a big way, with more Christmas fun than ever. There will be something happening at every Disneyland property, including special rides and shows as well as special holiday decorations.

Sleeping Beauty Castle will come to life with thousands of lights as they sparkle and shine like icicles and snow.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade – Prance over to the parade route and watch some of your favorite Disney Characters—including the Princesses— join Santa and his reindeer to create an extravagant fairy tale of sight and song.

“Believe… In Holiday Magic” – Holiday wishes do come true as this fireworks spectacular builds to a breathtaking crescendo of bursting colors and falling snow.

“it’s a small world” Holiday – Sail through a world of holiday traditions and messages of goodwill from around the globe.

Haunted Mansion Holiday – Jack Skellington and his spooky crew bring their holiday spirit to town in a transformed version of this popular New Orleans Square attraction.

Main Street, U.S.A. – Stroll the bustling storefronts resplendent in their seasonal finery. Don’t forget to catch the nightly Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Last year saw the inclusion of The Jingle Cruise at Disneyland. That seems to be off the list this year, but other holiday favorites have returned, such as Small World, and Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Disney’s California Adventure
Right next door at Disney’s California Adventure the holidays are exploding with color as World of Color will bring back “Winter Dreams”. The show made it’s debut last year with special clips of Frozen and Toy Story Nutcracker.

The rest of the resort will come alive as the residence of CarsLand get into the spirit as well, with tons of festive decorations that bring the holidays to life.

Downtown Disney
The Downtown Disney shopping and dining district will become a winter wonderland as they bring tons of special holiday events to the area. The highlight will be Olafs’ Frozen Ice Rink, which was inspired by the hit film, Frozen. Carolers, The Nutcracker and more will fill the streets of Downtown Disney with festive delights this holiday season.

- Tour the quaint holiday cottages, browse the shopping “chalets” and admire the majestic 30-foot tall Christmas tree.
- Strap on a pair of skates and test the ice atOlaf’s Frozen Ice Rink —straight from the enchanted land of Arrendelle. Open from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets must be purchased to skate.
- Croon along with the Disneyland Carolers on December 5 and December 16 through 25.
- Sugarplum fairy, anyone? Watch the Anaheim Ballet performs scenes from The Nutcracker on December 5 and 19.
More decorations will be all over the rest of the Disneyland Resort, including the two hotels.
Huge celebrations will mark the holidays this year as well, as Disneyland will celebrate New Year’s Eve and Three Kings Day (January 4th-6th) in the huge Disney tradition.
