Disneyland: The Exhibit coming to D23 Expo in celebration of Diamond Anniversary

The Disney archives are being opened once again for the D23 Expo, taking place this August in Anaheim,  and this time it will shine on the park that started it all. Disney: The Exhibit will let Disneyland’s rich history of the past 60 years shine with hundreds of rarely seen exhibits, 300 different pieces, and a space of 12,000 square feet. It’s one of the largest collections of Disneyland memorabilia to ever be displayed, and it will only be available August 14-16th at the D23 Expo.

60 years of Disneyland means that there’s a lot of magic to go around. The all new “Walt Disney Archives Presents–Disneyland: The Exhibit” will highlight six decades of Disneyland achievements, and memories. The exhibit will feature tons of items from the Disney archives, many of which will be displayed and seen by public eyes for the very first time. The exhibit will include props, costumes, artwork, vehicles and even Audio Animatronics.

Some of the props include the Abominable Snowman from the Matterhorn (which has just been replaced), props from Pirates of the Caribbean, Country Bears, Autotopia and so much more. The 12,000-square-foot exhibit, which will be located on the Expo show floor, will include themed areas that honor the park’s history, attractions, parades, and entertainment over the past
six decades, including the construction of Disneyland, Pirates of theCaribbean, Mickey Mouse Club at Disneyland, Club 33, and tons of collectible merchandise.
