We’ve been telling you for months that the Wizarding World is going to be huge! Now Universal Studios Hollywood has announced, that on the very night of the huge World Premiere of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Hollywood, the park has sold out for opening day! This is huge news for the park, as it still proves that Harry Potter is the golden ticket.
When the original Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in Orlando in 2010, the World stopped for just a moment to watch the magic unfold. Wait times to get into the park also exceeded several hours, with an even longer wait to experience the Wizarding World. And with good reason, The Wizarding World sections at Universal Parks are some of the most detailed, most themed areas in the world. It turned the theme park world on it’s head, and even sent Disney scrambling to rethink how they build attractions.
Now, the Wizarding World Hollywood is coming to Hollywood in quite possibly the biggest way. The signature attraction, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, will be in 3D for the first time in America. There will be more shops than ever before, and actual film pieces will be used in some of the attractions. Plus, you have the backdrop of the Hollywood Hills to transport you even more into the Scottish countryside.
