Okay Universal Orlando Passholders, get your drinks ready! The park has announced officially on their official blog (click here for all the details), that they are rolling plastic passes. If you have been a Passholder, you’ll know the struggle of paper passes. They fade, get wet and turn black in the sun. Now, no worries, as the park is officially going back to plastic passes.
The passes will be offered in special events, beginning June 3rd and will be available in three different colors.
The passholders have spoken, and Universal has listened.
The new Annual Passes will be available in three vibrant colors, depending on your pass level:
Power Passes — Purple
Preferred Passes — Teal
Premier Passes — Yellow
The events will happen on Thursdays-Sundays, beginning June 3rd.
Here are the details on how to pick up your new Annual Pass:

Jurassic Park Discovery Center (outside, lagoon side) – Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Café La Bamba (outside, porch) – Universal Studios Florida

June 3, 4 and 5
June 10, 11 and 12
June 17, 18 and 19
Pick-Up Time
10:00AM – 6:00PM
