IAAPA, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions starts in less than 24 hours. It’s going to be a week of huge announcements, big unveilings, and more details about things we already know. As always, there will be tons of announcements happening out on the show floor. Of course the big ones are going to be SeaWorld and the various reveals that they will be making. Other big ones will be Dynamic Attractions, and S&S who will be revealing the “Steel Curtain” trains for Kennywood. Then of course there’s Sally Dark Rides and Intamin. What could Intamin be revealing? There’s some big happenings going on next year, but the biggest ride that no one is talking about (but there’s tons of rumors) is the new unnamed Harry Potter coaster going in at Islands of Adventure. With the premiere of Fantastic Beasts 2, and Universal right next door, there’s a good chance we’ll see the reveal of the coaster car, and maybe more details this week before then.
