It’s just about time for the hype train on Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge to go into overdrive, as the attraction is scheduled to open in just a few short months. On Tuesday night at Disneyland, the company decided to reveal all the costumes to their Cast Members in an exclusive event. The costumes soon flooded Twitter, and Facebook and are starting to get that hype train going. Of course, we are on board. The costumes are really movie quality, and in some cases look to be almost from the movies. Here’s a few of our favorite shots from the hashtags #CastmemberLife and #GalaxysEdge.

From the villagers of Batuu, to the shop keepers, every single person has a different look. It’s just a hint of the immersion that the park is going for, and the look of a far off village in space.

The costumes for Smugglers Run look a little more laid back, and fun, as you would expect a ride based on the adventures of Han Solo and Chewbacca to be. I mean, after all you are piloting the Millennium Falcon, so how formal do you have to look?

Rise of the Resistance, however, goes for a completely different look. They take on the more formal, and more movie like look. Plus there’s a key difference here, the costumes are different…depending on the side that is represented.

The First Order has very movie quality costumes, which are very dark and very much like the costumes from the films.

The big take away here isn’t that they’re doing separate costumes, but they are ding separate roles! There will be not only First Order roles, but also Resistance Fighter roles all on the same ride! That’s going to be insane! It kind of proves some of the rumors that have been circulating around about the new land.

A close up look at the #GalaxysEdge nametags! They are:

It’s one thing to see the costumes themselves, but the cast looks amazing in them. They really seem not only authentic to the Star Wars Universe, but they also look pretty functional. The details are amazing, and even the name tags will be phenomenal.
The new looks haven’t been “officially” revealed by Disney to the public, but this is close enough. The new costumes and the entire new land will open this Summer at Disneyland Resort in California, and then later this year at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios.
