The Universal “Summer Concert Series” continues this weekend as Matchbox 20 front man Rob Thomas takes the stage at Universal Studios Orlando this Saturday. You really have to wonder if anyone is actually going to see the concert, as crowds at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter have been constant.This is your second to last chance at seeing a free performance at Universal Orlando as Counting Crows wraps up the series next weekend.

WHAT: This Saturday, July 10, multi-platinum pop rocker Rob Thomas takes center stage at Universal Orlando’s Summer Concert Series. As the front man of hit band Matchbox Twenty, Thomas is also a successful solo artist with more than 80 million albums sold and popular songs including “Lonely No More,” “Her Diamonds” and “Ever the Same.” He holds three Grammy awards for “Smooth,” his smash hit collaboration with Carlos Santana and has also lent his songwriting talents to legends like Mick Jagger, Tom Petty and Willie Nelson.
This year’s Summer Concert Series lineup showcases some of music’s most popular superstars. Each artist has scored top 10 hits on the Billboard charts, sold millions of albums worldwide and produced some of today’s most recognizable songs.
