Today, Goretorium shared with Bloody Disgusting lots of brand new information regarding the event which has had it’s secretes successfully safeguarded until now. A brand new teaser trailer has been revealed showing a “hair raising” barber shop scene with some awesome practical effects and gore that rivals that of any big Hollywood motion picture which we always love to see. These effects were created by Hollywood effects artist Dean Jones from American Makeup and FX.
In addition to the brand new teaser trailer, lots of juicy new bits were reveled including parts of the back story as to why The Delmont hotel is haunted.
The multi-level maze of frights submerges visitors into the tale of Sin City’s most deadly mythical hotel and casino, The Delmont. The self-guided horror experience begins in the lobby of the Delmont and unveils gruesome and ghastly sights of past hotel guest victims and the serial-killing family behind the deeds at every turn. Employing high-tech Vegas showmanship with old-fashioned scares, the terrifying labyrinth of live actors, animatronic frights and stunning special effects is contained in a vintage hotel setting that rivals Hollywood’s best movie sets.
Eli Roth is hugely ambitious about Goretorium, with it he is not only trying to create the Disney World of horror madness, but something that Las Vegas has not had for quite some time, themed entertainment venues. Goretorium will not only house a multilevel maze walk through, but VIP lounge inspired by the 1960’s called “BABY DOLLS” featuring live caged zombie dancers, a quick service bar named “Bloody Mary’s” and even a unique horror themed Wedding Chapel.
In the interview with Bloody Disgusting Eli Roth shared his ambition.
“The “Goretorium” will be a destination for both horror fans and tourists from around the world, 365 days a year,” Roth said. “We are creating the most intense live terror experience a person can have, incorporating the latest technology with old-fashioned scares. This will be the premiere haunted experience in the world, filled with all kinds of surprises. I’ve spent years planning this, and all my nightmares are finally coming true. No matter which haunted houses you’ve been through, you have never been through anything quite like the “Goretorium”.”
