From June 7-9, the Midwest Haunters Convention is back at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio for 2013! This year MHC has a great lineup of seminars and hands-on workshops, offering over 35 hours of solid haunter education! If you’re in the haunt industry and you have never attended a seminar or workshop, you definitely need to attend one! The seminars and workshops are taught by haunt industry professionals and address common topics to help attendees learn and innovate. From airbrushing to pneumatics, there is a seminar and workshop for every haunted attraction owner, manager, designer, operator, makeup artist, actor, entusiast, and home haunter!
MHC kicks off the education with the Pre-Show seminars on Friday June 7, 2013. The Pre-Show Seminars include courses on acting, makeup, construction, and 3D scenic painting.

MHC also offers Weekend Seminars throughout June 8-9, 2013. Six tracks of education are presented: Business, Acting, Makeup, Props/Haunt Design and Home Haunting. All Seminars are instructed by industry experts. The seminars serve participants with skills ranging from beginner to advanced levels and backgrounds ranging from haunt owners, actors, makeup artists, and Halloween fans.
The Weekend Seminars are available for $85 in advance (here) or $99 onsite (while seats are available). For 2013, the Weekend Seminars are sponsored by MiniSpotlight.com.
