The fun continues this week as Busch Gardens Tampa wheels out more bbq, brew, and of course more bands with their Bands, Brew BBQ festival happening this Saturday and Sunday. The park is about three weeks into the event, and the bands keep on coming. This week is a country favorite, with a dash of rock of love.
Saturday will see country up and comer, and winner of The Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year. Justin Moore has been a favorite with his hits “Small Town USA” and “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” Moore headlines the event on Saturday February 22nd.
On Sunday February 23rd, Rock of Love and Poison Front man Bret Michaels will be headlining the festival. All concerts are included in theme park admission, and held in Gwazi field at 4p.m. Gwazi field opens at noon on both days, so get there early to get a good seat.
For those looking to sample several of the specialty brews, unlimited sampling is available from noon to 5:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday with a Beer Festival Wristband. Wristbands are $30 per person (ages 21+), or two for $50 for active Busch Gardens Tampa Pass Members, and also include sampling privileges at the Desert Grill restaurant, Crown Colony pub, Garden Gate Café and Zambia Smokehouse.
Busch Gardens Tampa is also getting ready to open the world’s tallest free standing drop tower that will drop guests face first over 330 feet. Falcon’s Fury will open later this year as the centerpiece to the all new Pantopia.
