D23: The official Disney Fan Club will hit the road this summer with the D23 Disney Fanniversary Celebration and will travel across the United States, visiting 11 major cities including good ‘ol Orlando! Fanniversary 2014 will commemorate dozens of magical Disney milestones celebrating landmark anniversaries in 2014.
Fanniversary 2014 will revisit beloved theme park attractions, animated live action films, characters, TV series, and more than 90 years of Disney history. Some of this year’s celebratory landmarks include Donald Duck, the 1964-1965 New York’s World Fair, Sleeping Beauty, The Haunted Mansion, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Little Mermaid, and more.

- August 16 & 17: San Francisco, CA
- September 6: Chicago, IL
- September 13: Seattle, WA
- September 20: Atlanta, GA
- September 21: Philadelphia, PA

- September 28: New York City, NY
- October 4: Boston, MA
- October 25: Orlando, FL
The event will last for approximately 105 minutes. On top of Disney history and celebratory milestones, it will also feature the never-before-heard track “Evil Evil” from Sleeping Beauty plus a demo recording from The Little Mermaid. Each event will also feature a hat worn by Julie Anders in Mary Poppins plus a “Duckster” award that guests will be able to photograph. The Duckster Award was created in 1952 and was a bronze-colored award created in the image of Donald Duck. It honored those who made significant contributions to Disney over the years. Walt Disney and Donald Duck were both among many recipients of this award.
Fanniversary 2014 will be open to the public, however D23 members will receive special pricing for the event. Gold and Silver members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets beginning on May 21st at 10am PT for just $23. D23 Free Members will be able to purchase tickets beginning on July 11th at 10am PT for $33. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning on July 9th at 10am PT for $40. Tickets will go on sale at http://d23.com/events.
