There were no huge ceremonies, there were no ribbons to be cut. There was only the sound of screams. That’s the way Busch Gardens likes it. Falcon’s Fury at Busch Gardens has been undergoing soft openings for a few weeks. Guests have been trying out the new attraction, and raving about the fun ride. Today, however, the ride is officially open!
Falcon’s Fury might have hit a few snags earlier in this year, missing it’s grand opening date, but as they say…better late than never! The park has declared the all new, one of a kind free standing drop tower officially open.
“We know guests from around the world have been waiting to experience this one-of-a-kind thrill ride, and we are excited to officially invite those guests to ride Falcon’s Fury,” said Park President Jim Dean.
So what does it mean now that Falcon’s Fury is officially open? Guests can expect the new attraction to be open as part of the daily operating schedule. During “soft opens” the ride can be up or down for any reason, now (unless weather stops it) the ride will be open every single day. The new attraction is truly one of a kind, as it takes guests up to a jaw dropping 335 feet, then rotates them face down before dropping them.
Video-Brave the dive, and face Falcon’s Fury in this POV!
Passholder previews begin on September 13th, and guests will be able to experience the all new attraction in the dark during Howl O Scream.
