Legoland Florida Hotel is about to turn Legoland from a one day family destination, to a two day family resort. The all new hotel is opening on May 15th, and will open the door to families wanting to spend more than one day at the resort, without trekking back to Orlando for a hotel. The new hotel is aimed right at kids, and will a popular place to stay and play. Legoland Florida has given us a cool sneak peek at some of the cool features of the hotel!
Legoland Hotel will differ itself from the other onsite hotels in Central Florida by one big reason. The hotel is literally steps from the front gate. While many other hotels require you to take a tram, or boat to get from the hotel to the park, Legoland Hotel is literally right outside the front gate, and will have a special pathway for hotel guests.
The hotel will also boast 2,000 Lego models throughout the hotel, with at least eight models in each room. The rooms will also feature one of four themes, and will have a bucket of bricks for kids of all ages to play with.

The fun starts the moment you walk through the doors of the lobby at the hotel. There will be a special “Kid Check in” in front of the Minifigure wall, which will feature 5,000 minifigures. There’s also a castle play area, and a pirate ship, surrounded by a moat filled with Lego Bricks. The all new hotel will also be fun from start to finish, including a “Disco Elevator”, a scavenger hunt, and nightly entertainment.
While the park is definitely aimed at kids, there is tons for mom and dad as well. Guests can hang by the pool, or take a stroll on the boardwalk of Lake Eloise. Another cool feature is that there will be Master Model Builders in their workshop, working on all manner of models, and even giving tips and pointers.
Kids can choose to stay in one of four themed rooms: Pirate, Kingdom, Adventure or Friends. Each room will have at least eight LEGO models, and a bucket of LEGO bricks for kids to build their imagination.
Located just 130 kid steps from the main entrance of LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Hotel guests will have early morning access to the theme park designed for families with children ages 2-12.
