Texas offers plenty of fun attractions and plenty of sights to see, including SeaWorld San Antonio. The Texas theme park offers a wide range of attractions from roller coasters, to animal exhibits, and even waterslides and sandy beaches at their very own waterpark, Aquatica. The Texas Travel Industry Association toured Texas in 2014 and has announced the results of their tour. During the tour, they visited a total of 13 cities and saw 14 restaurants and 36 attractions.
SeaWorld San Antonio was one of the locations that was visited on the 39th annual tour. The park was named the “best attraction” out of the 36 attractions that they visited.
“SeaWorld San Antonio strives to offer an unforgettable vacation experience where guests can discover up-close animal encounters, awe-inspiring shows and thrilling rides and attractions. We’re truly honored to be recognized as the best attraction in Texas,” said Dan Decker, park president of SeaWorld and Aquatica San Antonio.
SeaWorld will have even more to offer their visitors in the future. SeaWorld San Antonio will be opening Pacific Point Preserve on May 22nd. The all-new area will allow guests to connect with California Sea Lions, Pacific Walruses, and Otters like never before. Along with the all-new realm, SeaWorld will be debuting a brand new Sea Lion show, Sea Lion High, which recently made it’s debut in Orlando just weeks ago.
Even further into the future, SeaWorld has announced plans to bring an all-new Dolphin experience, Discovery Point, to their guests. Discovery Point will offer an experience that is similar to the Dolphin Swim experience that is offered at Discovery Cove in Orlando just outside of SeaWorld Orlando. Slated to open in May of 2016, Discovery Point is sure to offer even more of a unique experience to local theme park go-ers and travelers alike.
