Happy best friends day! It’s the perfect day to hang out with your best friend, get a little silly, and have a ton of fun. It’s also the perfect day for Legoland Florida to announce the opening date for their brand new, girl centric area based around the best friends anyone could have, Lego Friends! Heartlake City will be the latest addition to Legoland Florida, right behind the all new Legoland Hotel, and it’s very close!
The all new Lego Friends, Heartlake City will have it’s grand opening on June 26th! The all new area is the latest in the Legoland Florida additions that have taken place in the past few years.
The all new area features an all new show, Friends to the Rescue, which will be housed in a huge air conditioned theater, built especially for the show. It will also feature an all new thrill rode for kids, Mia’s Riding Adventure. The new ride is a Disk-O roller coaster type ride that has riders sitting on horse shaped seats and will take guests on a spinning ride up amd over a huge track.
To celebrate Best Friends Day, Legoland Florida had Mia from Lego Friends in the park greeting guests, and telling just what makes a best friend so special. The first 50 families who participated were given tickets to come back, and be the first to experience the all new attraction.
Heartlake City will also feature new shopping, and interactive experiences, as well, and will open June 26th.
