Universal Studios Hollywood changes annual pass offerings

Universal Studios Hollywood is undergoing massive growth over the next few years. It should come as no surprise that the ticket and pricing structure will also change. Today, Universal Studios Hollywood showcased the first of those changes with three all new annual pass options. The new annual passes range in benefits, as well as price and black out dates.

The new passes are effectively immediately, and include discounts, eligibility for contests and more. Each pass offers black out dates, how many depends on which you get. It’s worth noting that none of the passes include free parking.

Here’s the pass rundown:

Gold Pass, $299: This pass is the top of the line pass, and offers the least amount of black out days, with just 53. The pass offers $12 dollars off of the regular admission for up to six people, and a 10% discount

CA Resident Plus Pass, $183: The next pass down gives you  121 black out dates, as well as the $12 dollars off admission, and 10% discount

CA Resident Pass, $139: The CA Resident Pass gives 183 black out dates, is the cheapest pass, and gives just $12 dollars of admission. There are no discounts associated with this pass.

Just this year, Universal has added The Simpsons Springfield area, as well as the all new Fast&Furious Supercharged. Next year will see the biggest expansion to date with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
