A teaser for the all new David S. Pumpkins Halloween special is now online…I’m sure there will be plenty of questions. The new special will air on Saturday night, October 28th at 11:30 p.m. in the normal SNL timeslot.
The special is being animated by Bento Box Entertainment, and definitely gives off a vibe of the old animated shows from the 70’s. In the show, David S. Pumpkins pops up from the elevator when a brother and sister find the magic pumpkin, which looks like a crusty old, rotten pumpkin.
It will be interesting to see how this goes, and if it’s as big a hit as the original sketch. The sketch took the web by storm last Halloween. David Pumpkins will be voiced once again by Tom Hanks and will be 30 minutes long, it will be immediately followed by the SNL Halloween special, which will feature all the best Halloween skits from the show’s long running history.
