Did you know that Poltergeist was rated PG? That allowed my dad to take me to see it when I was six. It scarred me for life, and I still won’t leave a TV on in the middle of the night. I can’t tell you how amazingly grateful I am for the auto shut off features on Smart TV’s. Still, Poltergeist was an amazing movie that brought to life so many wonderfully horrifying images, all built on the back of innocence. While the late Tobe Hooper directed it, you can feel producer Steven Spielbergs magic all over it.
Now that same magic is coming to terrorize you at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights Orlando and Hollywood!
The house will take guests through fan favorite moments, like the skull monster, the clown (god the clown!) the massive tree monster and more. Then they’ll take you into the light Carol Ann! I know you’ve been warned to not go into the light, but this time you’ll go.
Poltergeist joins the already stellar line up of Stranger Things, Trick r Treat, Carnival Graveyard, Seeds of Destruction, Slaughter Sinema and Dead Exposure: Patient Zero. Chucky also makes an appearance in the scare zones with Killer Clowns from Outer Space and three original scare zones rounding out the line up in Orlando.
In Hollywood Stranger Things, Trick r Treat, The Purge And Hollywood Harry are all on the line up!
It’s going to be an awesome year, and we can’t wait!
