One of the bigger announcements from IAAPA 2018 today was the unveiling of pretty much everything that SeaWorld is doing for 2019. One of the biggest things of course is Tigris, from Premier Rides, who unveiled a very unique look at the ride trains for the new coaster. You could say it was a…piece of cake?
The new coaster will be the tallest launch coaster in all of Florida, and will take riders forward, backwards, up and over the awesome new track.
While the coaster looks “sweet”, don’t think that the cake means that the park is done. They are fast at work on Tigris, and crews are already starting to look at the replacement for Gwazi, which will come from Rocky Mountain Coasters in 2020. The two coasters are the latest in the push for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, as they steadily built their attendance.
Meanwhile, Busch Gardens Tampa also released a look at the new coaster, and gives you a glimpse at what it will be like to ride Tigris when it opens next Summer.
