Ah, the holidayz. They are special times of year when we get together with familiez, roast hot dogz on the grill, shoot off fireworkz, open prezentz with your loved onez…and bring blood and gutz to the festivitiez. Are you ready for the second Halloween Horror Nights house of the season? Then get ready to spend your “Holidayz in Hell”!
Universal Studios Hollywood is taking the concept from the wildly popular scare zone from 2018, and fleshing it out as a massive new maze for 2019. The maze announcement came from the Halloween Horror Nights Panel during Monsterpalooza. The new maze will feature images from all of your favorite holidays gone terribly, terribly wrong, as they take you on a hellish sleigh ride with Santa, have you run and hide from the Easter Bunny, and much more.
As mentioned before, the maze is based off of a Scare Zone from 2018, Holidayz in Hell, which featured St. Patricks Day, Easter and many others. Of course with a larger venue like a maze, you can expect larger sets and more elaborate scares.
The maze will continue the tradition of original music, as it will feature original maze music by Figure. Figure has done music for many of the HHN Hollywood mazes before, including the new take on Universal’s Monsters a few years back. Holidayz in Hell will join Stranger Things at Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood, which will kick off this September and run select nights through the end of October.
There’s still much more to be revealed, and we can’t wait!
