It’s the time of year that all the parks up north are finally coming out of hibernation. It’s starting to warm up and soon enough, snow will be a thing of the past, for a little while anyways. Morey’s Piers will kick off their 2011 season on April 23rd. On the following day, they will have their annual Easter celebration at the park.
On April 23rd, Morey’s Piers will operate from noon until 6pm. The 24th, the park will operate from 11am until 5pm.
“There’s nothing like seeing families celebrating the start of the spring season on the Wildwoods Boardwalk with Morey’s,” said Kristel Fillmore, Events and Entertainment Manager. “It’s one of our favorite traditions.”
During their annual Easter Celebration, from noon until 5pm, kids will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny face to face and have their photo taken with him. Kids 12 and under will also have the opportunity to “pick an Easter Egg” for the chance to win prizes. Morey’s Piers will also offer kids the chance to help color and design their “Monster Mural” from noon until 5pm, Free face painting from 1 until 5pm and feature strolling entertainment.
