Home for the holidays never looked so messed up as Goretorium, the year round haunted Mecca in Las Vegas is stepping up their offerings with three special events, just in time for the most wonderful time of the year. Goretorium opened in September and has seen thousands of guests lose their cool, their minds and even their bowels in the haunted halls of the Delmont Hotel, billed as one of the scariest attractions in the world.
When we spoke to Goretorium creator Eli Roth back before the September opening at Goretorium, he told us that Goretorium would undergo several transformations throughout the year, with the first being a Christmas haunt. Not only has Eli Roth delivered, but Goretorium isn’t stopping there. Three special events will deck out the holiday season, with the first being the transformation of the regular haunt into “A Very Scary Christmas”.
Here’s the run down of the events:
- Slaughter the Halls 12/14 through 12/26-Billed as the first Christmas Horror experience in Las Vegas, Very Scary will have you coming face to face with killer elves, have insane photo ops, and even bring you face to face with Santa’s evil twin, Sick Nick. Ax wielding maniacs are sure to be a welcome sight after facing the terror of the tundra, and the scourge of the North Pole. For an extra $10 dollars guests can get their picture taken with Sick Nick
- End of the World Party 12/20-The Mayans calendar is ending. That can only mean that the world is ending along with it. Party until the world ends at the onsite lounge Babydolls with $5 dollar Blood Cocktails, a “live” Goth DJ, a sexy burlesque performance by Ivana Blaze and Jenn O. Cide. Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite dead celebrity for a chance to win prizes, and 2 for 1 haunt tickets.
- New Year’s Eve Vampire Masquerade 12/31-A special ticket to the party to end all parties. Count down to the New Year from atop Babydolls Lounge and watch the fireworks from the best spot in Vegas. Join the freaks of the haunt for a champagne toast and Baby Doll dancers. In True Masquerade form special masks will be given out to those in attendance. Get tickets here
With all this happening for the first year, it gets haunt freaks really excited for what 2013 has in store. For more information, including tickets, visit the official Goretorium website!
