Fun Spot America made two announcements, one today and one a few weeks ago, regarding the future of Fun Spot. For those of you who are familiar with the area, Fun Spot America is located near International Drive just off Grand National Drive (by Del Taco). Fun Spot already has a lot going on with construction happening on location.
A bigger Fun Spot:
Fun Spot just announced today they are expanding by 10 acres. The park purchased the empty lot of land just off Grand National Drive, where they plan to expand in the future. With the addition of this land, Fun Spot is now up to a total of 25 acres of land. In the picture above, you can see the current construction site, plus the land that Fun Spot just purchased. Fun Spot purchased the land to the right of the road (across the street).
Enterprise – Coming 2013:
Fun Spot also announced a few weeks back that they have purchased a ride that once called Six Flags Over Georgia home, “Wheelie”. “Wheelie”, now Enterprise, will be opening at Fun Spot in 2013.
