Memorial Day is next week and it marks the “unofficial” beginning of Summer. School is almost over and the temperatures are already heating up! Kings Dominion has a big weekend scheduled for memorial day weekend, which includes the opening of Dominion at Dusk, opening of WaterWorks, and Military Appreciation Days!
Dominion at Dusk
Dominion at Dusk features fireworks, Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular, and Street Beats every single night through Labor Day weekend beginning on May 25th. There’s no better way to end your night at Kings Dominion than to watch fireworks burst in the sky above the park or to experience one of the two shows. Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular features more than one million LED lights, while Street Beats is an all-new dance party on International Street.
Don’t miss Dominion at Dusk! It will take place at 10 every night from May 25th through Labor Day Weekend.
WaterWorks
With temperatures rising and crowds swelling, people will be looking for a way to cool off. Kings Dominion has their own waterpark, called WaterWorks, that will be opening this weekend to add extra thrills to your visit. Be sure to bring your bathing suit if you plan on visiting WaterWorks!
Military Appreciation Days
Kings Dominion will be honoring our nation’s heroes with Military Days, from May 25th through May 27th. Active and inactive military U.S. Service men or women with valid military ID will be eligible to receive free admission to Kings Dominion.
Members of the military are encouraged to visit their local military installation for specially priced tickets for their family and friends.
Weekend activities will include a moment of silence, flag raising, military bands, patriotic music, and much more.
