It’s great to be a kid at Wildwater Kingdom, especially when you’re the guest of honor at the biggest celebration of the summer! Northeast Ohio’s premier waterpark is hosting Kids’ Day beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, with a variety of fun-filled activities to delight all ages.
The biggest kids celebration of the summer brings Balloon Bender Dave, the exotic birds from Parrot Hope Sanctuary, face painting by Sparkles the Clown, and the 96.5 KISS FM K-Crew to Wildwater Kingdom for a kid-tastic day at the park!
The 96.5 KISS FM K-Crew kids dance team will perform from noon to 2 p.m. while guests float down Riptide Run’s lazy river, take a 60-foot plunge into an enormous funnel on Liquid Lightning or climb the 100-foot tower to brave Ohio’s tallest water slides, Thunder Falls!
Tickets/Discounts:
Junior tickets for children under 48 inches are just $16.24 for the day. Guests can get the best deals on regular tickets with Wildwater Kingdom’s Pay Once, Visit Twice promotion. For just $45.70, they can visit any two days of the summer, saving nearly $20.
Guests can also save big while helping a great cause by purchasing discounted tickets that benefit the American Cancer Society. To take advantage of this online-only ticket, available for just $25.33 per person, guests can type “cancer” into the promotional code box to save $7 per person, and proceeds from every ticket help save lives by supporting cancer research.
Last month we attended media day for the 2013 season at Wildwater Kingdom. Wildwater Kingdom’s Director of operations; Bill Spehn hosted an awesome Q&A session! Bill spoke about everything from water temperatures, to lifeguard training, and a new movie that was partially filmed at the park!
