Coming up this November is D23 Destination D: Attraction Rewind event. Organized and hosted by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, it is sure to bring fans a lot of Disney fun and some exclusive things that will make the event unique within itself. Taking place in on November 22 and 23, D23 Destination D will bring together Disney architivsts, Imagineers, Legends, and more for one big event.
The Attraction Rewind will give fans time to celebrate fan favorites like Adventure Thru Inner Space, If You Had Wings, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea with rare concept art and images, vintage video clips, and stories. In addition, D23 will devote a full day of presentations to Disney’s contributions to the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair.
Even more Disney talent has been announced for Destination D, making it an even bigger event.
The line up for Destination D includes:

Gary Landrum, show awareness producer, who archives and preserves the history and stories of Walt Disney Imagineering

Jason Grandt, art director, whose projects include New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom Storybook

Dave Minichiello, executive director, creative development, whose art direction guided Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
-
Pam Rawlins, show producer, whose projects include Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot’s Millenium
Disney Legends including Charlie Ridgway, Ron Logan, and Bill Sullivan have also been announced to be at Destination D. Other speakers will include Disney Legends Marty Sklar, Bob Gurr, Alice Davis, Becky Cline, Bill Cotter, Stacia Martin, and Michael Kelley.
To add to the fun and excitement of the weekend, there will also be a special exhibit designed by Walt Disney Archives in honor of the event, Pleasure Island: Rewind – a celebration themed around the nightlife district of Downtown Disney, and exclusive merchandise.
The event will take place in the convention center at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Currently, tickets are available for $190 each to D23 Gold and Silver Members and for $250 to D23 Free Members. Each guest will receive a special gift! Fans can still sign up for a D23 Gold, Silver, or Free Membership.
