Disney announced their 2013 celebration, Limited Time Magic, earlier this year in Times Square. Limited Time Magic will offer fun, weekly celebrations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland that will change from week to week. During the initial announcement, Disney announced several celebrations including: True Love, Independence Week, Long Lost Friends Week, Pirate Week, Dapper Dans Sing Boy Bands, Villian Week, and more.
At Walt Disney World…
With 2013 just on the horizon, Disney announced their first Limited Time Magic Celebration: “Bling in the New Year”, which will take place from December 30th until January 5th.
During Bling in the New Year, guests will be able to ring in the new year for an entire week at the Magic Kingdom. In the Tomorrowland section of the park, guests will be able to watch live entertainment on the Rockettower Plaza Stage, participate in a dance party, and meet some of their favorite Disney characters dressed up in their new year’s best. And for those who head to bed before the clock hits midnight, there will be hourly New Year’s countdowns.
At Disneyland…
Disneyland will be hosting the Three Kings Day Celebration for the second year in a row, except it will be at a brand new location this year. The celebration will take place at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland. The Three Kings Day Celebration will take place from January 4th through January 6th from 10am until 6pm.

Also, Disneyland will be paying special tribute to the Golden Horseshoe for a limited time. From January 10th until February 4th, you can catch a showing of “A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue” on Thursdays through Mondays. The show, which Walt Disney himself enjoyed, pays homage to the fun-filled, family friendly music shows of the past.
Disney also announced that 2013 would be the “Year of the Ear”. Every month, Disney will be releasing new, limited time, Disney Couture Ear Hats. Hats will be released in January and each month from there on, there will be a new design to discover and add to your collection of Mickey Ears.
