Have you spotted any sharks going down the highway? The all new coaster, Mako, isn’t scheduled to take it’s first dive until next summer at SeaWorld Orlando, but the shark is already making waves as the track is starting to arrive on site at SeaWorld Orlando. The track is making it’s way down from the Ohio plant, and traveling almost 1,000 miles to get to it’s new home.
Track pieces, as well as supports and other pieces arrived onsite at SeaWorld Orlando this morning. This is the first load of track, but it will not be the last, as the entire coaster is 4,760 ft long. That’s going to take more than one trip!
The new coaster will take riders up 200 feet before dropping them down, hitting speeds of up to 73 mph. It will be the fastest, and tallest coaster in Orlando.
