It’s Six Flags announcement day! It’s the day where coaster fans, and adrenaline junkies all over the country find out all the new insane adventures coming to their favorite coaster park chain, Six Flags! Two Six Flags parks are getting new attractions in their waterparks in 2016. That’s a huge step back from past years when many of the parks got huge additions to their waterparks, as well as some of the parks. Still, the parks that are getting additions, are getting some great new wet attractions for 2016 that will be fun for the whole family.
Six Flags Whitewater in Atlanta, Georgia will be getting the huge new Wahoo Racer. A classic twisting mat ride which will allow families to race togther down a huge, and fast track.
- A tower standing nearly 60-feet and easily visible from Interstate 75 where the park is located;
- Speeds of up to 40 feet per second; and
- Six aero-dynamic designed water toboggans for the ultimate competing thrill.
Six Flags America will be getting Splashwater Falls, an all new kids play area that will combine tons of water with more water.
The giant new interactive water playground will feature dozens of slides, nets, sprays, geysers and thrills for the whole family to enjoy. To top off the fun a super-sized, tipping bucket atop the huge play structure will dump water on guests throughout the day.
