Sonic the Hedgehog is turning 25 years old! To celebrate, the little blue hedgehog is going harder than ever with tons of great new games and additions.
First up-Sonic Dash, the mobile game, has reached a huge milestone with over 250 million downloads. To celebrate, they have introduced Classic Sonic and the new Green Hill Zone to the game!
Next up, Sonic will be joining the hit game series, Lego Dimensions. He will be joining the game that combines several classic game and movie characters into one place.
Sonic is also getting an untitled 2017 game, which was teased briefly. There is no date other than “Holiday 2017”, and no further details, but the teaser looks pretty amazing.
And finally, the biggest news. Sonic Mania will bring the classic 2D side scrolling adventure back to life with a massive new game, old levels, and new moves. You’ll also have three playable characters with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
