Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail – located at 2837 S Frontage Rd, Plant City, FL 33566 is opening for a limited run this December. The dates are:
December 10, 11, 17, 18 and 19th.
We got a chance to come out early for an advanced preview – and let me tell you – if you’re missing Halloween already as much as we are then I would plan a trip! Boasting two haunted trails, some games, and merch this is a way to get your Halloween fill that’s a little deeper than a screening of a Nightmare Before Christmas in December!
With their two trails hidden away in the outskirts of Plant City, and fully converted to a Christmas themed haunt, Sir Henry went all out to bring the scares. The first house I visited was “A Christmas Haunting.” You travel through a house as you’re attacked on all sides working your way through, and to not spoil to much – it was certainly creepy. The weirdest part was the Ghosts haunting the hall’s – who don’t acknowledge your existence – an experience you have to see for yourself. It was unlike any other haunt I had experienced before.
The second house was Krampusnacht – which as you can guess from the name is Krampus torturing bad children! This is a proper through the forest haunt and absolutely Christmas decorated out. LED lights lead your path as you get terrorized by Krampus, and it is absolutely phenomenally done. Been a bad child this year? Krampus is gonna get you…
There are also some other activities: Axe Throwing, a laser tag game, and an escape room; along with food and merchandise being available. Through the field where you chose your houses there are some scare actors wandering around, giving photo op’s.
If you’re in Florida and missing Halloween already – as I am anytime it’s not October – Sir Henry’s is absolutely a visit worth making. Make sure you grab your tickets in advance – there are none at the gate and you don’t want to miss the Christmas scares.
