Silver Dollar City announced the world’s “most daring wood coaster” over the summer. Outlaw Run is slated to open in March of 2013. The coaster will take riders through trees and hills, which will add to the excitement of the coaster. There are three main things Outlaw Run offers that make it extremely daring, including:
- It will be the world’s second fastest wood coaster, clocking in at 68 miles per hour
- It will have the steepest drop on a wooden coaster in the world
- It will take riders upside down.. THREE TIMES!
Silver Dollar City unveiled the trains during IAAPA. Today, Silver Dollar City unveiled the first computer generated rendering of the ride, which will give you a great idea of what to expect when it officially opens. The ride looks like it will be completely shrouded in trees and make for some great “head chopper” effects. The looping at the end seems like it fits really well and will fit the experience of Outlaw Run as a whole and make for a great experience.
