As spring break crowds disappear, and Easter celebrations are over, SeaWorld Orlando is finding another reason to celebrate with the return of the annual Viva La Musica festival. Viva La Musica celebrates the food, fun and sights of Latin culture, as well as the sounds. The festival kicks off this Saturday with a huge name in Latin Music, and of course tons of great food.
This week SeaWorld kicks off the annual four week celebration, Viva La Musica. The event includes your chance to taste different Latin inspired flavors prepared by SeaWorld’s Chef Hector Colon. Lechón, arroz con gandules y yuca al mojo, arroz con pollo, habichuelas coloradas y maduros, carne frita con tostones, alcapurrias and ceviche are just some of the items that Chef Hector has whipped up for the festival.
In addition, one of the biggest Latin artists will take the stage in the Bayfront Music Stadium. This week Daddy Yankee will kick off the festivities in style.
Viva La Musica is the last big celebration before the big celebration of Summer comes along at SeaWorld. It’s also the biggest Latin celebration in all of the Orlando area theme parks. The best part is that all concerts and admission to Viva La Musica is included with theme park admission. The Bayfront area opens at noon with all concerts starting at 3p.m. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. VIP Packages are available for an additional fee, which not only include reserved floor seating at the concerts but can also include some tasty food.
