SeaWorld Orlando is about to launch into the holiday season, but that doesn’t mean that the fun is over. The park is already making huge plans for 2016, which not only includes the huge new Mako coaster, but also tons of events and fun that the park will roll out all year long. From concerts, and festivals, SeaWorld Orlando has something for every taste, flair and flavor!
In just a few weeks, SeaWorld Orlando will roll out their huge Christmas Celebration! Guests will be able to stroll through holiday markets, see dazzling ice shows, and celebrate miracles with Shamu! It’s all included in theme park admission, and it’s all coming this holiday season!
Here’s the line up:
SHAMU® CHRISTMAS MIRACLES
SeaWorld® invites you to experience the power and beauty of our Shamu family in our nighttime holiday show: Shamu® Christmas Miracles. Thrilling seasonal music rings out and killer whales soar through the air in a story of reflection and understanding… of peace and friendship… of the everyday miracles that surround us all year long. From the sweeping vocal majesty of our soundtrack to the heart-pounding excitement you’ve come to expect from our Shamu family, this performance will take you on a stirring voyage into the heart of the holidays.
O WONDROUS NIGHT
Hear the greatest story never told with over 30 carols, live-size puppets and live animals in the brand new show that will charm, entertain and delight people from all walks of life. Lots of singing, special effects and incredible lighting enhance this production and holiday spirit. It’s a live nativity that only SeaWorld can bring to life.
THE POLAR EXPRESS EXPERIENCE
Now boarding! It’s a wondrous journey to the North Pole aboard THE POLAR EXPRESS. The beloved holiday classic comes to life as you and your family are immersed in the heart-warming story of a young boy’s thrilling ride into an enchanted world. The sights, sounds, and scents of the season surround you. From the moment the conductor calls “all aboard” to your arrival at the North Pole (where you’ll meet Santa Claus himself), THE POLAR EXPRESS Experience promises to create an unforgettable holiday memory.
ELMO’S CHRISTMAS WISH
The holidays have arrived, and everybody’s Sesame Street® friends have come to SeaWorld® Orlando for a festive and fun musical celebration! Elmo’s Christmas Wish will soon become your child’s favorite show. Join Rosita, Grover, Zoe and Cookie Monster as they work together to help Elmo find his Christmas wish!
WINTER WONDERLAND ON ICE
Christmas comes to life on a stage of ice, jewels and light as skaters dazzle and delight in this show-stopping, ice skating extravaganza. It’s a don’t-miss experience for the holidays that will take your breath away.
SEA OF TREES
Take a walk through our wintry, watery wonderland and immerse yourself in a sea of holiday trees. Our glistening forest with over 100 trees sparkles to music and lights up the water… and, your eyes. As the lights literally dance to holiday classics, your heart will soar with wonder and delight at this truly awe-inspiring Christmas treat.
The fun doesn’t stop there, as SeaWorld Orlando will rock out New Years Eve with a huge musical celebration, capped off with huge fireworks.
As 206 rolls around, the park will have more going on than ever, with all eyes on Mako! The coaster will be speeding and ripping through the park in the summer, but before then, there’s tons of great events on the horizon.
Wild Days – Saturdays and Sundays, January 16-31
Wild Days connects guests to the wild and wonderful world we all share, with educational and interactive shows that give guests the opportunity to meet leaders in the world of animal rescue, rehabilitation and preservation.
Bands, Brew & BBQ – Saturdays and Sundays, February 13 – March 6
Bands, Brew and BBQ is back for 2016 and sizzling with live concerts and delicious favorites from SeaWorld’s restaurants. In partnership with the USO of Central Florida, the celebration also salutes America’s military.
Praise Wave – Saturdays, March 12-26
With the return of Praise Wave, guests can celebrate Christian fellowship and fun at SeaWorld Orlando. Uplifting, live concerts from the hottest names in faith-based music will light up the stage at Nautilus Theater.
Viva la Música – Saturdays, April 16 & 23 and May 7 & 14
Viva la Música is a fiery Latin music and food festival for the entire family. Guests enjoy hot concerts by popular Hispanic artists and bands, and authentic Latin flavors specially prepared by SeaWorld’s very own executive chef, Hector Colon.
Summer Nights – Every night, June 11 – August 14
As the summer sun goes down, the fun heats up at SeaWorld Orlando. Summer Nights gives families and friends the chance to stay in the park for more thrills and fun.
Then of course there’s the hidden surprises that SeaWorld will have all year round, and the Spooky fun returns with Spooktacular in October. It’s looking like a fun year at SeaWorld Orlando, and we can’t wait!
