Orion is the tallest coaster at Kings Island and the tallest and fastest coaster coming this year! This ride, also manufactured by Bolliger and Mabillard, will be the park’s 14th roller coaster. Take an animated ride on this beast of a ride below!
So why isn’t the tallest and fastest automatically #1 on our list? While this roller coaster is going to be incredible, we feel with the amount of space the park had, something better could’ve been built. With the many amazing coaster types you can buy for $30+ Million, this uninspired layout at the start of what will be a decade of incredible rides is a disappointment. We see Orion riding a lot like “Leviathon” at Canada’s Wonderland, which is an underwhelming coaster based on the size of the ride.
