4. Jersey Devil
Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey, USA
The Jersey Devil at Six Flags in Jersey is one of the larger RMC-built coasters to date. “Rocky Mountain Construction,” a USA-based company, is widely known for their wood-to-steel conversions, where they take older wooden rides and turn them into steel-tracked, smooth-yet-insane coasters.
The tallest single-rail RMC has built to date, and first with a custom layout, the Jersey Devil coaster features in-line seating with one person per car. It allows incredibly fast maneuvers that are jaw-dropping to watch from the ground and look sped-up to the human eye, it’s a very cool effect to see in person.
