3. Iron Gwazi
Busch Gardens Tampa, Florida, USA
Yet another SeaWorld-owned park on our Top 10 list, the first top-three slot goes to this RMC-built monster. The steel-tracked ride takes supports and footers from the parks’ former Gwazi coaster, but with an all-new layout and new lift hill, it’s hardly recognizable apart from the similar name.
Iron Gwazi is the tallest, fastest, and steepest hybrid coaster in the United States and is possibly the most talked-about coaster this year.
Iron Gwazi is rumored to open in April, trackwork is days away from completion, music is playing in the queue, and preliminary testing with trains moving back and forth between station and brake run is ongoing.
